Founded in February 2011, M2R Films was supposed to be called « CamérAlerte » – but the name was already taken by a company specialising in video-surveillance !

The project was already to produce impact films, drawing the public’s attention to human rights under threat – whether showing the effects of and alternatives to chemical agribusiness, economic nonsense, inaction on climate change, or the usual treatment of unemployment.
