The association includes 100 producers in 50 companies, which are committed to promote the place of scientific film on television, develop their production activities in France and abroad, and educate the French public in science programs.
Films à Cinq is the combination of two producers, Sally Blake and Martin de la Fouchardière and the fusion of two cultures – Anglo and French – which means we can watch baseball and philosophize about it at the same time! Concretely, this linguistic combination has enabled the company to built a far-reaching network of contacts in the international market and we have a long history of co-productions between French and English speaking countries.
Whether it is a documentary about science, cinema or art, Films à Cinq continually pushes for experimentation and excellence in the creative expression of intelligent ideas. Our work has been shown on most major television networks, we have been nominated for Emmy’s and our films have been selected at Cannes and enjoyed cinema releases in North America.
